Municipal Analyst
• Administrative and Technical Head of Laboratory.
• Exercise his duties as a Food Analyst, attend court hearing and Authorized Signatory for Regulatory Samples Analysis report.
• Holds overall responsibility of the laboratory management and providing adequate resources for testing.
• Implementation of BMC as well as Quality management policies.
• Improvement of laboratory as per BMC policy, rules & regulation.
• Give expert technical guidance and motivation to staff.
Assistant Analyst
• Technical Heads, Supervise Analytical work and Authorized signatory.
• Responsibility of ensuring availability of all resources required for testing samples.
• Managing technical work and giving guidance to technical staff.
• Ensuring that standard procedures and Good Food Laboratory Practices (GFLP) are followed during analysis.
Assistant Chemist/ Assistant Bacteriologist
• Technical team Qualified, experienced, skilled and competent in testing food and water samples.
• Highly devoted team test food and water as per standard methods following GFLP and ensure timely analysis of samples.
Laboratory Assistant, Laboratory Attendant & Labor
• Do all the preparation like media or reagent preparation, sterilization of
media, washing glassware required for analysis and housekeeping laboratory.
• Assist Asst. Chemist/ Asst. Bacteriologist during analytical work.
Head Clerk, Clerks & Peon (Non-technical team)
• The Non-technical team manage all the administrative work of the laboratory which includes recruitment and management of staff.
• Procurement of all resources/Equipment’s /Services.
• Dealing with customer, receiving sample, distributing samples and
dispatching Analysis reports.
