Our laboratory has a very well-developed infrastructure across area of about 11700 square feet’s, segregated in Administrative, Chemical and Microbiological Sections. The administrative staff is experienced with good management skills and maintain proper documents and record. Also has good coordination with vendors and service providers to ensure timely availability of the resources, equipment and services. For testing sample, the laboratory follows recognised and standard testing methods which includes the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standard), FSSAI Manual Methods, AOAC (Association of Official Analytical Chemists), etc. The Laboratory is equipped with advanced equipment and instruments required for quality testing. It is ensured they are well maintained and calibrated.

The Technical team of chemist and microbiologist is skilled, qualified and experienced. The staff upgrade their scientific knowledge and skills continuously by participation in trainings and workshop programs for doing quality testing and generate timely reports. Also participate in Proficiency Testing (PT) and Inter Laboratory Comparison Programs (ILC) regularly for maintaining Competence. The Quality Management Team ensure that the quality policy and procedures are sticky followed by the all the staff members. The documentation and records are properly maintained as per the requirements of ISO/IEC/17025.The team also deals with customer requirement, provide analytical guidance and handle customer complaints providing best solutions to achieve customer satisfaction.

Since January 2023 the laboratory has also implemented its own computerised Software system “Food and Water Quality Management System (FWQMS) “for entering technical data and generating reports. This has benefited our customers as it enables them to directly access the system to get timely Test Report.The laboratory management has provided its staff adequate policies, procedures, safety equipment and also ensure Good Food Laboratory Practices (GFLP) are followed during analysis. This enables the staff to work efficiently in healthy and safe environment.
